Off to the Outer Banks!

Got up early and piled into the car for the 7 hour ride to the Outerbanks. We got to stop for burgers at Hardees and lots of Pee stops for Abby. Discovered it is very important to stay well hydrated on long car trips and to get out and stretch your legs often. We finally got to the beach house and wow is it ever nice…three stories with lots of decks and a big fenced yard for Abby and I to play in. There is even an in ground pool and a 7 person hot tub. We spent the rest of the evening just hanging out on the decks. It was chilly so we just walked out to the beach but didn’t go walking in the water. Verne decided it was maybe a good thing for me to sleep up on the mantel just in case Abby wanted to play during the night…hummmm sounded like a good idea to me too.
